A Cotswold Treasure

Dunford Barn is a gem! We were two families traveling together -- including 4 children and a baby -- and the set up of the house could not have been more perfect. Claire was in contact well before our visit to determine how we wanted the beds set up and to offer suggestions of fun things to do over the winter holidays. Langford is well-located, allowing us to visit not just Cotswold villages but also Stonehenge, Salisbury, Bath, Stratford-on-Avon, and Oxford. And the kitchen table was large enough to seat all of us for a few at-home dinners when we needed a break from our touring schedule. A lovely holiday home.

Great find

We had a lovely weekend at the Barn. It was perfect for our group of six friends - very comfortable and spacious, and really nice to have the hot tub. The location is gorgeous. Claire was on hand to answer any questions. We'd definitely go back!

A Lovely Stay

We stayed here as a group of 8 friends and had such a great time. The cottage was really spacious, yet warm and cosy and had everything we needed. The hot tub for us was a huge bonus and a real luxury addition. The location was great too - peaceful, with lovely surroundings, but still close enough to get to local walks and a beautiful pub. Overall, we couldn’t have asked for more. Would 100% recommend and stay here again!

A wonderful comfortable stay!

Dunford Barn provided an excellent, spacious and very well-situated base for our party of 8 adults to explore the Cotswolds. Claire was a terrific friendly host and we quickly realised that all her recommendations were fantastic! We loved all our meals at local pubs and restaurants and enjoyed a particularly stunning meal at The Double Red Duke (Claire’s own personal favourite). We also discovered it was possible to rent a boat locally for a day cruise up the Thames, mooring at a riverside pub for lunch. Much fun and highly recommended! We found the house warm and relaxing and immediately felt at home in picturesque Langford. Overall an excellent stay for us all.

Dunford barn iis the perfect place for a nice weekend getaway with family and friends. Everything is to a good standard to make the guests stay pleasant. We were 8 adults and 7 kids and felt so comfortable . It’s also close to a nice village and in easy reach of supermarkets.

We stay at Claire’s lovely accommodation for the second year in a row! The house is clean, well stocked with all the things you need for a wonderful weekend. Claire is very responsive to any questions which is great! The Bell Inn down the road has wonderful food and worthwhile booking.

Dunford Barn was perfect for a family gathering for my husband’s 70th birthday. Plenty of space, the bedrooms were beautifully laid out and the snug was ideal for the grandchildren (they claimed it as their space) Thank you Claire

Perfect place, incredible host

I can’t thank Claire enough for the incredible stay my family had at Dunford Barn. On an hours notice after our Air Bnb got cancelled on the day of our check-in, she had us booked in and welcomed to the perfect Dunford Barn. The communication was outstanding, her compassion for my situation (it was my wedding weekend…!) was so appreciated, and she made us all feel at ease for the whole weekend. She quite literally saved my wedding weekend as I had family travelling over to stay, I will always look back on this with such appreciation. The house was spotless, and great rooms for gathering as a group but also snugs if you wanted some alone time. The hot tub was fantastic too! There’s a lovely welcoming pub 2 mins walk away too, must try. All in all, a wonderful house, and the perfect host!
