Is there a minimum reservation length for each property?
This is dependent on the season - at peak periods, the minimum length of stay is longer - either 3 or 5 nights. The minimum length of stay in off peak periods is 2 nights.
Do you allow children and pets?
Yes, both will be happy!
We provide two high chairs and two travel cots, along with trundle beds for little ones. For booking purposes, the number of guests to include in the booking is defined as all adults and children aged over 2 years on their return date. An infant will be under 2 years old on their return date. This means that if your infant will turn 2 years old during your holiday, you will need to include them in the total number of guests when booking your stay.
Please feel free to bring your pets - we have a garden and direct access from the garden to the lane through a garden gate. Please respect the carpets and only keep them to the tiled rooms (Snug, Kitchen Diner, Utility Room, Entrance Hall). We charge an additional fee of £50 per pet.
What is your check-in/check-out time?
Check-in is after 4pm. We will try to meet you in person, or we can make arrangements if this is not possible.
Check-out time is 10am.
We can be flexible with timings depending on availability.
What about the hot tub?
We have a hot tub new for Spring 2021 to seat up to 6 people. We are BISHTA approved (British & Irish Spa & Hot Tub Association), so you are in safe hands. We have chosen a hot tub model specific for the rental market that re-fills and heats quickly, so it should be available for your use at all times, regardless of check-in turnarounds. We conform to HSG282 and the water will be drained and re-filled for every set of guests. We use bromine rather than chlorine to be kinder to your skin. If there are any issues, we have access to 24/7 support and service visits within 48 hours as required.
For those of you interested, the hot tub is designed and built completely in the UK, as we are committed to buying locally and supporting our local economy. We are heating our hot tub through an air source heat pump, with the lowest environmental impact of any hot tub in the UK market.
How does everything work?
We provide a guide on the kitchen table when you arrive explaining everything, and you will also find a sign in every room for how everything works in that particular room. And if all fails, please contact the owner at any point!
Do you have a coffee machine?
So many people ask this question, so we are putting here! Yes we have two coffee machines for your use - a Nescafe Dolce Gusto and a Bosch Tassimo, which both take coffee pods. We also provide a cafetiere for fresh ground coffee.
