Dunford Barn is a beautiful Grade II listed property, dating back to the 17th Century and built from Cotswold stone. 

It has been lovingly renovated to an excellent standard to create a luxurious and contemporary interior. Whilst keeping the charming features of the past, the spacious living area is perfect for a Cotswold getaway, a few miles from Burford.

Outside, the property boasts a mature walled garden enjoying a south-westerly aspect, with a hot tub! There is a large patio with three dining tables, chairs and charcoal BBQ, along with a lawn for children to play.

Dunford Barn sleeps 8+3 guests in four bedrooms, with complete flexibility between Super King sized beds, or a Twin setup. The +3 option offers three additional single beds in three of the Super King bedrooms, so you can accommodate an extra three guests as required. There are two bathrooms, one with a bath/shower and one with a large walk-in shower. There are additional sofa beds downstairs if you require sleeping on the ground floor for disabled access.

The property boasts many period features including exposed wooden beams, flagstone flooring, stone mullion windows, exposed stone alcoves and a lovely Cotswold stone fireplace with a brand new woodburning stove in the Living Room. Modern facilities include superfast fibre wireless internet access and two Smart TVs with Amazon Prime, Netflix and catchup TV services in the Living Room and Snug. The Snug has south facing French doors opening onto the garden and contains table football and children's toys and furniture. A well-equipped Kitchen Diner, separate Utility Room and Downstairs WC complement the character. 

The home will be professionally cleaned with hotel-quality Egyptian cotton linens & towels and we provide complimentary cleans and hotel-quality fresh linens & towels for you each week.

We are children friendly, providing up to two high chairs and two travel cots on a complimentary basis, along with a wide selection of children's books, games and DVDs.

Dunford Barn is located in picturesque Langford, six miles from Burford, known as the Gateway to the Cotswolds! 

It is situated in a conservation area, on the Oxfordshire/Gloucestershire border, in the middle of the historic towns of Lechlade, Bampton (where they filmed Downton Abbey!) and Burford. You're also close to all the Cotswolds must-see villages of Stow on the Wold, Bourton on the Water, Bibury, Moreton in Marsh, Fairford, plus other popular places including Soho Farmhouse, Jeremy Clarkson's Diddly Squat, Cirencester, Oxford, Cheltenham and Witney.

Langford is an extremely pretty village, characterised by pretty Cotswold stone properties, surrounded by open farmland and has been classed as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. With excellent walking routes from the doorstep to local villages, it is the perfect location to explore everything the Cotswolds has to offer.

Within the village there is The Bell Inn, a critically acclaimed gastropub, offering delicious pub food with a great wine list! Giles Coren is a British food writer for the Times and visited in January 2018, writing, “On the final day of 2017, I had not just the best mouthful of the year, but the best mouthful of my life!”

If you need supplies during your stay, you're only one mile from Filkins with a small local shop, post office, cafe, museum and gift shop, open air swimming pool and another excellent pub, The Five Alls. 

While you are here, why not also visit nearby Cotswold Wildlife Park (3 miles), Burford Garden Centre (6 miles), Kelmscott Manor (2 miles), Crocodiles of the World (6 miles), Upton Smokery (7 miles), Cotswold Water Park (18 miles), Blenheim Palace (24 miles).
